How Support Dock PC Recovery Works?

Support Dock Disaster Recovery & Backup clones your entire computer by copying used data sectors from the source hard drive.  PC Recovery also lets you resize the partition(s) on the destination drive, if you are storing the backup on a larger hard drive

Cloning and imaging are done within Windows and do not require a system restart. All personal data, operating system files, settings, and configurations will be duplicated on the destination hard drive.

When Support Dock creates a complete backup, it copies only used data and saves the data as a highly compressed backup file. The backup file can be stored on CD-DVD, on a network share, to external USB or FireWire hard drive, or to another hard drive within your computer.

Support Dock incrementally updates a saved backup, only changed data is backed up. This reduces the file size of the backup and the time it takes to complete the incremental update.
