STEP 1 Install hardware: Install the necessary hardware and set up the Internet connection.
STEP 2 Connect systems: Connect the computers, run the ‘Set up a Wireless Router’ or ‘Access Point Wizard’ and connect the loose end of Ethernet cable to the Internet port on the back of the router.
STEP 3 Reconnect modem to power source: Reconnect the modem to a power source and plug the Ethernet cable of your router into the Ethernet connector on the network card at the back of the computer.
STEP 4 Plug to power supply: Plug the router’s power cord into the power supply and install the router software on your system.
You have successfully set up and configured home network with wireless router. It is recommended that you start by setting one computer and making sure that it works fine. Once you are sure that the network has been set properly, you can connect other computers and devices.
