Plan your network

Setup router

For this, you need to plug in the router and turn on icon in the notification area to open network window in your system. There you will see a list of available networks from which you need to click the default network of the router and follow instructions on the system screen to setup router successfully.

Connect devices

It is required to connect different systems and devices to a setup network in your system with Microsoft Windows 7 installed. For this, you need to log on to the system which you want to connect to the network. Then, you need to open the ‘Connect to a Network’ window by right-clicking on the network icon displayed in the notification area. The final step is to select the wireless network from the list which appears and then click on the ‘Connect’ button.

Turn on file and printing sharing

Finally, you need to turn on file and printing sharing in the setup process of network connection on your system that is installed with Microsoft Windows 7. It is important to create a home group in your system, if you are attempting to set up a home network in your system. To turn on printing sharing in your system, you need to select ‘Devices and Printers’ from the ‘Start’ menu of the system.
