The width of the display screen of a netbook varies from 7 to 10 inch while in the case of a laptop, it ranges from 13 to 17. Netbooks weigh less than 5 pound while laptops are heavier. The resolution of netbooks is lower. Netbooks have weaker performance specifications. Compared to laptop, netbook have a cramped keyboard and smaller keys. There is no optical drive in a netbook; so, one cannot use any CDs or DVDs in it. The price of a netbook is much less than that of a laptop. Hi Nigel, I think your company wants to keep costs down and also ensure that you people do not use the company system for anything else. Netbooks are great for browsing the web and creating simple presentations. With battery backup that can last for hours, I think its good enough for any company related work.

Are they givin us the rite thing?
Got a mail from my boss today which said our company is planning to give all sales guys netbooks! I googled and found out that netbooks don't deliver a performance like laptops.. shouldn't they be giving us laptops instead of netbooks?

Backspace, backspace, backspace...............!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am fed up of using my new netbook. I need to work a lot on documentation and the worst part of all is that the key that I click most frequently is backspaceL. The kypad of this netbook is so small that I always mistype and often I have to click on backspace. I waste a lot of my time doing this correction. I am getting irritated. My sincere suggestion to all you folks is never opt for a netbook, laptop is always a better choice........
