Slow PC troubles??
Desktop forms an important part of your computing process. Like any other part of the machine, even your desktop can show errors and need regular maintenance.
In such cases, the icons don’t disappear from the screen, they are hidden. Sometimes one icon completely obstructs the other. If your desktop is packed with icons, this could be a regularly occurring problem. You can, however, fix the issue easily by resizing the desktop. Once this is done, re-arrange the icons by selecting Auto Arrange. You can also remove the unwanted icons from your desktop to make it less clustered.
This generally happens when you try to install a driver or software that doesn’t match the version of Windows operating system on your PC. Remove the software or disable it. Restart the computer to see whether the problem is resolved. Try re-installing the software or get compatible software.
A refresh rate that is too low causes eyestrain. You can fix the refresh rate by going to ‘Properties’ and adjusting the refresh rate.
You can simply change the display settings by going to the ‘Control Panel,’ choosing ‘Desktop Appearance’ and choosing the kind of display settings you want.
Sometimes, when you keep adding programs and icons to the desktop, it results in hiding some icons. To display those icons again, you would need to clean up the desktop and remove unwanted icons. This is simple, all you need to do is go to the “Add and Remove Programs” and select the programs whose icons you want to remove from the desktop.
